Their music is a combination of catchy and melodic punk rock riffs with a crusty punk aesthetic.
Throughout the album they put fourth a dual vocals assault, one vocalist on the lower end and
the other with a much higher range of screaming. Their lyrics are very political dealing with
pro-choice issues, the animal rights movement,
Solidarity with the Zapatista struggle, Social Anarchism,
and much more.

A.D.S. is a Los Angeles Anarcho-Punk band that formed in 1985. This is their debut CD after a
long hiatus recorded in 2006. This album offers nine studio tracks with male and female vocals
sung in protest-style chants. A.D.S. inspired Peace Punk bands Autonomy and Resist & Exist in
their early days. ‘Break The Silence’ has new and old material re-recorded. Released by AGC
(Alternative Gathering Collective) and distributed by
Conflict’s UK label Mortarhate Records.
Subsistencia - Nuestra Tierra Anahuac CD $13.00
The CD starts off with a slow tempo, playing indigenous instruments and eventually rips into
fast Anarcho-Punk style music with male and female vocals sung in Spanish. Subsistencia had
strong lyrics dealing with the Zapatista struggle, fighting White Supremacy and cultural pride.
Subsistencia performed at many benefit shows in the Los Angeles area and worked closely
with Resist & Exist on setting up festivals. This CD is packed with 11 songs and was released
by XICANO Records and Film (Aztlan Underground’s label). Originally, they were asked to do a
full-length album for Tribal War Records (Aus Rotten
and Anti-Product fame).
